This module introduces us to analysis and abstraction in design thinking in architecture. It emphasizes “User and Context” which investigates the relationship between the user and the natural environment, as well as introducing spatial architectonics in the creation of architectural space.

SITE CONTEXT
  • Conduct research on selected buildings and produce a complete set of architectural drawings

  • Formulate it into set of 5 analysis diagrams and 5 diagrammatic models..

  • In a group of 2, design an Introspective Architectural Folly with a maximum volume of 125m3.

  • Explore the possible spatial qualities through an understanding of timber construction and joinery.
