Design narrative. This structure is designed as a sensorial space to allow users to release unwanted stress through meditation. It is divided into 2 sections which consist of a public and a private space:

public: open where users are able to meditate together

private: specifically designed for the main user’s own space which is an enclosed area, allowing their own privacy which feels secure, with openings to ensure air ventilation and desired amount of light

This module allows students to develop an understanding of basic building construction and materials used in construction along with its properties and applications. It also allows us to explore building elements and basic construction processes including substructure, superstructure, and common construction materials.
