We were tasked to produce a set of orthographics, construction details, and construction processes based on the floor plan of a two-story concrete-built house. I was able to develop a wider understanding of the detailing of building elements on superstructure including the floor, wall, door, window, staircase, and roof, as well as sub-structural systems in buildings.

This assignment required us to work in a group of 7 in which I did not know some of the other members as they were from another course. By working in a group, I was able to make several new friends and collaborate with them. It involved a long and tiring process of gathering the information and sketching it correctly, however, it was a very interesting discovery as it was a first-time experience analyzing building elements and the construction processes of constructing a building. As there was also a STUDIO submission on the same week, it was quite a rush for us to complete this assignment.

Lastly, I would like to thank my tutor, Dr. Sujatavani Gunasagaran for guiding us through this journey as it did ease us from confusion at certain points of this project. This module was really enjoyable for me as I was able to have fun and take pressure off from my main module, STUDIO.
