We were required to document, evaluate, and analyze the site's urban context of Medan Pasar, then produce boards based on the character and conditions of the site setting. The ‘Legibility Analysis’ method and the Serial Vision methodology by Gorden Cullen were newly introduced to me in this project so it took some time to get a grasp of them. However, the workshops that were provided for us were very helpful in guiding us to understand certain aspects of the project. Overall, this assignment has definitely has allowed me to generate a better understanding of how to conduct site analysis, and the definition of a urban context, such as Medan Pasar.
