Design narrative. This structure is designed as a sensorial space to allow users to release unwanted stress through meditation. It is divided into 2 sections which consist of a public and a private space:

public: open where users are able to meditate together

private: specifically designed for the main user’s own space which is an enclosed area, allowing their own privacy which feels secure, with openings to ensure air ventilation and desired amount of light

This module introduces practices of construction technology. It focuses on construction systems of basement, building façade and envelope systems as well as steel construction. It covers new construction technologies and systems including modular construction (MC) and Industrialised Building Systems (IBS).

In a group of 5, conduct an analytical study of different IBS construction methods and assessment of IBS scoring.

Compile the findings onto an A3 report and construct a physical sectional model of the building to show IBS components in detail.
